Suresh Raina starts with defeat

Suresh Raina's international captaincy stint starts with a defeat. It was heart-warming to see Zimbabwe at last pulling off a win against a quality side like India.

Post match - Raina: They got good partnerships going and our bowlers didn't bowl, to be honest. Couple of them are new, so hopefully they will learn and do well next time. The pitch is nice, Rohit Sharma batted very well. Our batting department did well, it is the bowling and fielding which needs to get better.

It was troubled times when Raina came into bat and with 47/2 the Sachin's men where looking to place a strong hold in the game.  But that did not deter him, played an excellent unbeaten 57 off 35 balls with 3 sixers and 3 fours helping Chennai Super Kings to the best total in an IPL Final 168/5.  Suresh also came back strongly in the field taking a stunner of a catch of Tiwary; the wicket of Harbhajan Singh and almost the master Sachin himself ;).
